My Contest Entry
I had no idea when I entered Deedee5's contest that anything like this would happen. I didn't even think something like this was possible!
Once again, I just wanted to thank you all for being so very kind. I knew that Fashionistas were wonderful, which is why I've been a Moderator for so long. I enjoy helping the community and talking with the great people I've met here. However, this beautiful act of love and support has completely knocked me off of my feet! When I started seeing all of you beautiful people posting green outfits, I tried to collect them and asked people to send them to me because I didn't want to miss any. When I was told to not worry about it because an album would be made, I had no idea it would be anything like THIS! You all never cease to amaze me -- and I'm so thankful!! ❤
Whenever my husband finally awakes, I'm going to show this to him, too. I've told him about it. I've read your posts/private messages of support to him, too. Before his injury, he was supportive of me moderating here (even during other health issues and hurricanes). I even modded during the 57 days I was in hospitals by his side. I can't wait for him to see and hear again that the support has come full circle!

He's not awake yet. But since he's minimally conscious, he has points when he's a little alert. He can hold my hand. His eyes may focus. He'll rock his foot. Pucker his lips when I kiss him. Small things like that. He's been like that since the end of July 2018.
I talk to him all of the time, whether he's asleep or a little alert.
I have little to no assistance with his care nor support, so "the power of green" has been a TREMENDOUS help.

His "awake" times are a little more frequent. I was making a list the other day of the things he does consistently. We're up to 38! That's totally amazing when the "best neurologist" in our area told me that he'd never do anything.
I appreciate all of your kindness and care more than words can express.
