Let's talk about the Halloween trip!
Did you have fun last year?
What items are you planning on buying this time?
What stars do you hope to see?

The Halloween shop is my favorite part about the trip. However, I hope that I won't spend much there, I also want to take pictures with lots of stars! The ones you got last year are amazing.
What I hope to see added this year:
Jack Skellington and Sally (The Nightmare Before Christmas)
Cersei Lannister (Game of Thrones)
The Grim Reaper outfit for the boyfriends
But I'm sure I'll be pleased even if we don't see any of them. This trip never disappoints!
I love Halloween Town more than I should, it's bad for my wallet
And it's a shame it gets released so late in October, I usually blow all of my money and don't have nearly enough time to save up for Christmas Town.
I definitely LOVE the shop, it's my favorite part as well, and that preview is awesome!
I think we may already have a Sally star, but I might be getting it confused with the Sally-esque dress that we have at Nines. That was my other little issue, there are so many stars and so many levels that I'm wondering why they haven't started opening the town a little bit early, I think for new players starting later it will be near impossible to complete everything and compete with the new content added every year.
EDIT: I just did a quick count and there are currently 34 Halloween Town stars, and they seem to be releasing 6 every year. So this year makes 40, and lets be generous and say they open Halloween Town on the 20th. That means you have 11-12 days depending on where you live to collect 40 stars, and even if you set an alarm to run to star avenue once every 12 hours(pretty sure that's when they reset) that's still only 22-24 stars achieved. I guess what I'm trying to say is it looks like they may be adding them faster than we can collect them?

I can't wait to see the new outfits , stars ,hairstyles , decoration ..... OMG i c'ant wait for tomorrow !!
Cinder, love your witch outfit!
And yeah, they should definitely give us more time, at least with the stars.
Also, this "Sally" type of dress in Nineland is rather nice, I'll probably end up buying it unless something new is added.
SKQK, I forgot about all the awesome hairstyles and makeup! I love them, too. I always use one of the mascaras and lenses we got in 2014.
@Sweetdark, I remember reading that you don't use the bank. I'm so impressed you've managed to save so much in such a short time and on level 16! Do you plan on spending it all during the trip?
btw, I accidentally activated my -50% from the chests today and 10 minutes after this the site went down for 3 hours so I couldn't use it at all.
I know that we can't use it in the Halloween store but I planned on buying items from the regular Nineland if I need them to complete an outfit. Plus it would have been nice to see it not working in Helloween Land with my own eyes... I still hoped for a miracle.
But we all know that the site was under maintenance because of tomorrow's event so I can't be too mad about it.
LostDoll: Hey sweetie !! thank you for the topic
yes ,i never used the bank , not even once , i like to save money with hard work and even if waiting is so boring the most of the time , i can't help but feel happy when i reach my goal !! and juste like you darling i'm so impressed too , i thought that i wouldn't make it before halloween !!
Yeah i'm planing to spend the most of it during the trip (i'm planning to save some for Christmas too ), i don't think 51602 FD would be enough to buy everything i want ,but i'm really happy , i couldn't make it without a lot of patience !!
I'm so sorry for your 50% , it's so hard to keep it when you want to .

I spent a ton of time in the store today! Everything is beyond amazing.
What's your favorite item from this year? I can't decide between the throne and the Ankleton Gown (the one that is kind of like Morticia Addams' dress).
Plus, I was pleasantly surprised that a last year's hairstyle I really want turned out to be a Halloween one, I thought I'll have to wait till Christmas to get it.
Cinder, I don't think it's worth bothering them. I wasn't going to buy a lot of things so it's not a big loss.
My level objective is crying right now. I keep setting back its finish. A lot of the outfits are gorgeous.
I tapped out at level 40 this year. I have all of the Ikeshop and Nineland clothes bought til level 60, I just need to fulfill the requirements for the clothing total and the furniture total.
Clothing: Need 55 more
Furniture: Need 68 more
SO CLOSE
EDIT: I did not realize my text was that long so I apologize
With all my admiration with Halloween Land and all it's advantages, I really find a lot of downsides.
I'll first start with what bothers me the most:
I think the prices, especially for the quests are very high, you have to spend around 4000FD for each, not to mention there are also quests that require a certain amount of clothing items and decoration in order to move on to the next. If you add these up, the quests in total cost maybe around 150 000FD (without the price of clothing and decoration that depends on you). At the pace of 6 stars and 10 costly quests per year, I think it's such struggle for newer members. I agree with Cinder. I really appreciate the team's effort to give us new things every year, but I believe this is real issue since a lot of newly starting players won't be enjoying it as much. I'm saying this not only because I'm starting on the english website, but because a lot of really high level fashionistas on the french website including me are having a hard time coping with this. There are some fashionistas who didn't really play the game for some time and they find it hard to keep up with the rest, ESPECIALLY if they cannot use the bank and have to save for each event. Not saying it's a bad thing because I did on my french account, and it didn't really help much. And let's not forget all the stars they have to snap.
This event is very costly, along with all the other events, but I'm really happy that the team started lowering the dress prices because the dresses were unimaginably expensive. I just hope that in the future someone could read this and take this into consideration.
However, there's a LOT of positive aspects to this trip. 3 years ago, I didn't realize this trip could have this much potential until I saw all the new clothes and decoration that were released. The clothes have changed a lot since then, they improve, they evolve, they get more and more creative every year. The items went from very basic to extremely detailed, realistic and original. (Please, those spider legs are scary enough to send shivers down your spine) There is more variety and more customization. You cannot resist buying all those nicely drawn items, you spend your whole savings on them (no regrets). Also, the decoration is just outstanding. The dancinng ghosts, the raining background, the banners, the swords, the creepy dolls, the collapsed walls and the magic books really give you that halloween vibe.
LostDoll -> It must've been very annoying to lose a -50% discount like that, I think we should be able to activate it whenever we want. I also do not understand why the -50% discount doesn't work in Halloween Land, it could be very beneficial. Equally as confused when it comes to unblocking higher level items, it apparently works in Halloween Land but I don't see the point in this, there's nothing to unblock there.

Cinder, you can just buy 68 hair brushes. At least it worked this way in 2014. Good luck with the clothes though!
Unicorn9, I agree with you but I'm not sure they have a choice. They had to stop updating another Beemoov game this year so I won't be surprised if it gets even harder to play for free
If I had how good looking your boyfriend could be for taking a picture of the zombie, I wouldn´t have missed it: i COULDN´T BELIeve my eyes after having seen that incredingbly good looking guy.
Nineland posted this little spoiler!

I'm just happy to have something to do here again.
Since hitting level 150 I pretty much just log in to feed my nista and log back off. It's painfully dull.
Ooooh the face with the orange backround looks so good
I didn't look at the spoiler, because I want all the surprise. But... I can say I'm interest by the even because I will have the opportunity to improve my decorating; the travel one for sure, but also my bedroom.
Does anyone know exactly when Halloweenland will be opening?
Dare I don't but the latest date it opened is October 24th so we'll probably see it pretty soon.
IrisDelacour Love your Halloween bakery and can't wait to see what else you'll come up with! I'll be buying new decorations, too but I'm not sure if I'll end up doing anything with them yet.
My main goal in the game now is to collect the home items I want from Halloween and Christmas Land, then buy the small villa and decorate it. It will be just a normal looking home but I need many items from the trips.

I do a ton of Fashionista Cosplay, as well as fantasy looks, so I LIVE for the Halloween and Steampunk trips. Christmas is another one that often has some good finds.
I hope the town this year has new levels to gain. I've maxed out the Steampunk levels and was bummed when there weren't new ones for me to achieve. I am also pretty excited for the Stars.
