Casting Ends Sunday the 15th
Late June, 1970. A humid Los Angeles summer. Tensions between the Callaro and Martinez families are on ice but barely due to a blossoming romance between Nico and Deli. Alessandro Callaro has begun stepping back. The streets are restless. The clubs are hot. The money’s moving.
Casting
It’s the start of the summer of 1970 in Los Angeles. The city feels like it’s holding its breath. Write a scene that shows us your character going about their business, whatever “business” means to them.
Where are they? Who are they avoiding or watching too closely? What are they plotting, hiding, or pretending isn’t happening? This isn’t a time for explosions… It's the silence before the fuse is lit. Or are they just soaking in the heat? Show what they want, even if they’re lying to themselves.Event - Heat in Bloom
It’s the start of summer in Los Angeles, the season of sweat-slicked secrets and sunlit sins. Nico Callaro is throwing his annual birthday party at Club Persephone, a decadent, members-only underground club that Nico now manages. Music pulses and drinks flow. Entry is through an unmarked door behind a flower shop in Echo Park.
By the end of the night, Delia Martinez will be dead, and a swarm of undercover cops will raid the club. This is the night the Callaro empire begins to crack. (And where your story would end for the round as the cops raid).

Face Claim:
Age: minimum 25
Role: dream big and wild or small whatever works
Personality: or traits or what works for you
Relationships: Clearly if you are a part of the family already you will know everyone. And everyone knows everyone here. I just did small tags because there’s too much otherwise.
Interests: up to 5
And anything else you want to tell or I might have forgotten. Don’t think about it too much, it’s hard to know right away how they’ll come out later on.
Other requirements are if you want to write something or an outfit.
Honestly I’m flexible, do what makes you happy. Otherwise ask away and I’ll answer whenever I have a moment!
Inspiration for places
La Fortuna (Club)
Nico’s club and the scene of Delia’s overdose. A velvet-draped palace of champagne, secrets, and whispered deals. Everyone pretends it’s still glamorous.
Il Palazzo (Callaro Estate)
The old Callaro mansion on the hill. Gated, grand, and quiet, except when it’s not. The center of family power and politics.
The Greenhouse (Private Garden Retreat)
Céline’s sanctum on the estate grounds. Flowers, martinis, and damage control. It’s where the family has their most delicate conversations.
The Garage (Rafael’s Studio)
A fortified chop shop and underground weapons lab. Rafael calls it his sanctuary. Everyone else just calls ahead.
Saint Jude’s (Church/Community Front)
Where they light candles and Luca listens to classical music in the back pew. Confessions happen here, some spiritual, some tactical.
Hotel Aurelio (Luxury Hotel)
Mari’s go-to haunt when she wants to pretend she isn’t broke. She knows the concierge by name. So does Levi for other reasons.
The Galleria Moreau (Art Gallery / Front)
Levi’s business front. Minimalist art, maximalist laundering. His partner thinks it’s a bold curatorial statement.
El Puente (Bridge Overlook)
Where deals go down, and sometimes people too. Jaylen once said, “If it ends here, it was never going to end well.”
The Violet Room (Underground Lounge)
Naira’s base of operations. Sharp lighting, sharper clientele. Candlelit strategy meets blood-drenched elegance.
The Wash / Auto body front;
A stripped-down car wash where Luca and Silas hold “clean” meetings. No weapons inside. No surveillance. No mercy.
Warehouse 18;
Burnt out, half-condemned, and off-grid. Used for drops, pickups, and sometimes, disappearances.
Alba’s Diner
Open 24 hours, neon-lit, and never empty. Cops, criminals, and night owls all eat the same burnt toast. Céline orders the same thing every time.

Nico
The Prodigal Son - Nico Callaro
Face claim: Josh Heuston
Age: 26
Role: The boss’s heir
Personality Traits: Charismatic, impulsive, self-indulgent, insecure beneath the bravado, emotionally avoidant, narcissistic mostly when stressed, despises authority, self-destructive.
Bio: Nico has never walked into a room and not turned heads. He knows how to perform comfort, chaos, charm. He dodges responsibility with a smile. Runs from hard conversations. Uses noise to drown out guilt. Craves real connection, but flinches when he gets too close. Flirts as a defense mechanism. Needs motion, distraction, novelty. Finds silence unbearable. When backed into a corner, he bites and it’s cleaner than expected. He doesn’t know who he is when he’s not “the future of the family.” And he’s terrified to find out.
Golden boy with a silver tongue, Nico’s been protected all his life. Handsome, reckless, and always in trouble, Nico has a history of sleeping with danger, literally. But his affair with rival heiress Delia Martinez was the worst of his many bad decisions. And her overdose at a Callaro-owned club (which he is currently in charge of) has turned him into a liability.
Background:
Nico Callaro was born under a chandelier of expectations. The first and only son of Alessandro Callaro’s legitimate bloodline, he grew up in a house where legacy meant everything and love was currency, often withheld. His mother, once a socialite, became cold and brittle after learning of Alessandro’s long affair with Céline De Santis. The household never recovered. His mother, Luciana, was young, beautiful, and brittle around the edges. Nico learned early how to survive a dinner table filled with tension: with charm, diversion, and a well-timed joke. The only softness came from Céline. She was the only one who treated Nico like a person, not a legacy.
He was sent to elite prep schools, more for appearances than education, and quickly learned how to coast on his last name. But Nico grew up quick. Boarding school taught him how to lie with charm. Parties taught him how to disappear inside spectacle. When he came back to the city at eighteen, he was beautiful, clever, and directionless. So Alessandro gave him his first club, Belladonna, as a test. Nico turned it into a golden temple of smoke and music, a place where deals could pass hands under neon, where danger wore designer and nobody asked questions.
Born into privilege, Nico grew up in the family’s golden light, protected, adored, and expected to become something great. But behind the designer clothes and expensive education was a boy who watched his parents’ marriage crumble under the weight of secrets. Nico idolized his uncle, more than his own father. That influence, charisma laced with danger shaped him. He never had to earn his place, so he never really believed he deserved it. He grew up around Mari and Levi, his oldest constants. He met Levi at a family event as kids and instantly clung to his defiance. They became inseparable, partners in crime before they even knew what crime was.
Relationships: Closest to Levi, who’s always bailed him out. Grew up alongside Mari, though he was often jealous of her independence. Deeply attached to Céline, who raised him more gently than his own mother did.
Mannerisms: Will physically leave a room or situation rather than deal with emotions; Flashes a charming smile before delivering bad news or manipulating someone; Keeps a small Saint Christopher medal in his pocket, rubs it when he feels guilty.

Levi
The Trickster - Levi Moreau
Face Claim: Gavin leatherwood
Age: 28
Role: Money launderer and gambler
Personality Traits: Witty, calculating, morally flexible, self-preserving, trust issues, never panics, uses humor as a shield - pretends nothing can touch him.
Bio: Levi is silver-tongued and infuriatingly likable. He deflects intimacy with jokes, turns every accusation into banter, and makes sure no one sees how close to the edge he actually is. He believes in loyalty, but not in truth. He has secrets layered under charm, under misdirection, under a look that says he’s already two steps ahead. He’s deeply insecure, but he’d rather die than show it. His greatest fear is that, underneath all the layers, there’s nothing of substance. Just static. Just absence.
Just released from jail in time for the summer heatwave. He’s the outsider who’s been in too long to get out clean. With a gallery funded by laundered money which fuels his gambling habit and a partner working in federal prosecution, Levi walks a tightrope of lies.
Background:
Levi was born in Montreal to a single mother who waitressed by day and danced in a small cabaret at night. He never knew his father, only that he was “the kind of man who disappears,” and that Levi was better off without him. His mother, Juliette, was magnetic, sharp-tongued, fiercely protective, and utterly incapable of stability. They moved constantly: apartments above nail salons, basement studios with leaking pipes, one brief stint in a commune outside Portland. Levi learned to lie early, mostly to reassure her. He was a clever child, unnervingly so. Skipped a grade. Got caught running card games in middle school. Expelled twice before he turned sixteen. His teachers said he was “bright but manipulative.”
Levi wasn’t born into the family, he crashed into it. His mother worked as a bookkeeper for the Callaros, and when she was arrested, they kept the boy around. He learned to be useful fast. Nico became his way in, and the two bonded over a shared love of chaos. Levi had a talent for reading people and playing both sides. Art was his escape, numbers his weapon. Jail didn’t break him just taught him new games. Now, he launders money through a gallery and keeps his personal life as fragmented as his finances.
Relationships: Childhood best friends with Nico, more loyal than he lets on. Former fling with Mari, though neither of them admits how serious it got. Walks a thin line with Céline, who once vouched for him.
Mannerisms: Tilts his head slightly before a lie; Smokes when he’s anxious, even if he pretends he quit; Talks with his hands a lot, often gesturing to distract or disarm; Pretends to forget things he absolutely remembers.

Celine
The Mistress - Céline De Santis
Face Claim: Olivia Cooke
Age: 41
Role: Designated driver and emotional linchpin
Personality Traits: Graceful, emotionally astute, manipulative when needed, calculating, unshakably poised, controlling, medicates when emotions run too high, can be ruthless behind closed doors.
Bio: Céline is refined, poised, and devastatingly perceptive. Never shows her full hand. When she’s silent, people grow nervous. When she smiles, they grow terrified. She believes in control over chaos, influence over force. She doesn’t need to threaten you, you’ll imagine worse on your own. Still, she’s not cruel. Just calculating. She has a real affection for those she’s taken under her wing but she’ll sacrifice anyone to protect what matters.
Don’t let the heels and martinis fool you, she keeps the family’s moral compass spinning while keeping her own hands (mostly) clean. She plays dumb, but Céline sees everything. She smooths over conflict with a smile and quietly manages the family’s dirty work when no one else can. She’s the one you call when you need to disappear.
Background:
Céline was born Céline Bresson in Avignon, France, the eldest of four children in a working-class family that smelled like lavender, cigarettes, and desperation. Her father was a butcher. Her mother cleaned churches. Theirs was a noisy, devout household, love was conditional and God was always watching. She was a quiet, curious child. Learned early how to hide in plain sight, how to read people before they spoke. She helped raise her siblings, translated for her mother at doctors’ appointments, and learned how to lie for survival. At seventeen, she left for Paris. She was meant to attend university. Instead, she got a job as a hostess in a private casino owned by an Italian fixer. She never finished school. She didn’t need to.
She met Alessandro Callaro at an auction. She was meant to distract him. Instead, he offered her a drink. A month later, she was living in his guesthouse. A year later, she was the mistress everyone pretended not to see. She was more than a mistress, she became the keeper of the family’s emotional ledger. She raised Nico in everything but name, stitched together rifts with practiced hands, and learned how to clean up messes no one wanted to admit. Her charm masked steel. She never married, never left, and never stopped collecting secrets. She and Luca used to run the family’s messes together, back when the violence still scared her. It doesn’t anymore.
Relationships: Maternal figure to Nico, though their relationship is strained. Has long-standing tension with Mari, who blames her for the family fracture. Trusted by Rafael, who thinks she’s the only one who sees through him. Shared a past working alliance with Luca, back when he was still all-in.
Mannerisms: Hums old love songs while driving; Avoids direct eye contact when lying; Constantly “fixes” people ties a crooked tie, wipes a smudge off a cheek; Always wears perfume her ex-lover hates out of spite or nostalgia, no one knows.

Mari
The Heiress - Mariela “Mari” Callaro
Face Claim: Lux Pascal
Age: 30
Role: Glamorous cousin and business wildcard
Personality Traits: Glamorous, cunning, emotionally guarded, strategic, witty, takes nothing seriously seemingly, imposter syndrome, often feels isolated due to the chase for glamour but can’t stop herself.
Bio: Mari is elegant, observant, and disarmingly self-deprecating. She knows how to weaponise her image, the broke aristocrat, the pretty girl who never quite belonged. But underneath, she’s razor-smart and emotionally strategic. She plays dumb with people who underestimate her, and brilliant with those who don’t. Her loyalty is selective, her affection real but guarded with barbed wire.
The Callaro name gave her luxury. The modeling career gave her exposure. But no one knows she’s leveraged every account and is days away from ruin unless she can cash in big. Glamorous and broke, Lux is treated like a pawn but plays her own game. With family ties to offshore accounts and rumors of wealthy contacts, she’s everyone’s ticket to serious cash, if she lives that long.
Background:
Mari was born into the periphery of power. Her father, Sandro Callaro, was Alessandro’s charming but unreliable younger brother, the one who always showed up late and left early, who bet more than he earned and always had a new girlfriend by Sunday. Her mother, Geneviève, came from old European money, a Spanish-French art curator who wore linen and disapproval like perfume. Their marriage was beautiful and poisonous, and ended quietly when Mari was ten.
She split her childhood between Madrid, Marseille, and Manhattan, trailing behind her mother’s gallery work, but always spending summers in Miami with the Callaros. It was here, in a heat-drenched house full of secrets, that Mari learned to watch more than she spoke. She saw how her father charmed everyone except the people he owed. She saw how Céline moved like silk and got what she wanted. She saw Nico, always the golden one and knew that people like her had to find power in shadows, not spotlights. Her father died when she was twenty, quietly, alone in a hotel in Monte Carlo. Some say suicide. Others say debt collection. Mari never asked.
Mari was the face of the family brand before it had one, flawless, fashionable, and always somewhere expensive. But behind the jet-setting and campaign shoots was a girl who saw the cracks before they spread. She played dumb because no one expected her to be smart. Now, she’s broke but dangerous, walking into boardrooms and blackmail schemes with the same smile. She and Nico were raised close, but she always felt like the second choice. And if she could do it all over she’d invest more in herself. Her romance with Levi was a brief flare, burned bright, ended badly, and still lingers.
Relationships: Childhood cousin to Nico, but keeps him at arm’s length now. Still has emotional sparks (and unresolved tension) with Levi. Distrusts Céline, holds her responsible for family divisions.
Mannerisms: Flashes a dazzling smile to disarm or deflect; twirls jewelry when bored or stressed.

Naira
The Tempest - Naira Cruz
Face Claim: Begona Vargas
Age: 30
Role: Drug queenpin and Callaro partner business partner.
Personality Traits: Ruthless, business-minded, sharp, emotionally distant, volatile, deeply loyal, easy going, down to earth, genuine.
Bio: Naira is sharp in every sense. She speaks like someone who’s already dissected your argument before you finish it. She doesn’t waste time on sentiment. That’s not to say she’s hollow. She believes in control, in precision, in never giving anyone something they can use against you. But under the surface, she is not invulnerable. She is lonely in the way only powerful women can be respected but rarely trusted, seen but never known. She’s worked so hard to protect herself that even she doesn’t know what she’d be if she ever stopped fighting.
Naira built her empire selling to the streets and elite alike. The Callaros backed her rise which also by design has her being a part of the mob. Naira’s drugs were in Delia’s system. She swears it wasn’t her doing but she’s making power plays. She runs her business like a corporation and doesn’t like being blamed for someone else’s mess.
Background:
Naira was born in Los Angeles, but it was never home. Her mother, Isabela, fled from cartel entanglements in Mexico while pregnant. By the time Naira was six, they were already moving again, Oakland, then San Antonio, then finally the outskirts of Miami. Always under different names. Always looking over their shoulders. Naira never met her father. Her mother wouldn’t speak of him only warned her that men like him didn’t love, only possess. Isabela worked cleaning jobs by day and bartended by night, but eventually, her past caught up. When Naira was fourteen, Isabela vanished. No police report. No funeral. Just silence.
Naira learned early that safety was a story people told themselves. She didn’t have family. She had survival. She spent years running cons, building small circles of influence, playing quiet roles in someone else’s game. But she never stayed anyone’s pawn for long. She listened. Learned. Watched what broke people and how to build with what was left. Naira started on the street corners, rose through grit and brilliance. Her deals were clean, her cuts were sharp, and she never blinked twice. She earned the Callaros’ backing with profit, not charm. She doesn’t believe in blood loyalty, only results. She was helped by Luca once, and though she outgrew his methods, his lessons stuck. Now, she treats the drug trade like a merger, but the emotional fallout still haunts her.
Relationships: Former partner of Luca, though they’ve grown distant. Constant friction with Silas, whom she sees as too quiet to trust. Tolerates Dominic, finds his ambition familiar. Suspects Céline knows more than she lets on.
Mannerisms: Stares too long in silence before responding; Taps her nails on hard surfaces when agitated; Lights candles compulsively claims it helps her think; Never reuses jeweller worn when something bad happens.

Sy
The Veteran - Silas “Sy” Cárdenas
Face Claim: aaron taylor johnson
Age: 34
Role: The man who makes bodies disappear
Personality Traits: Stoic, cynical, loyal (but wavering and wouldn’t sacrifice innocents, anymore), deeply observant, kind, humorous.
Bio: Loyal, but not blindly. Observant. Everything about Silas is deliberate. He doesn’t get emotional, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t feel. His grief is buried deep, but it’s always there, steady as his footsteps. He has rules. He sticks to them. But those rules are his own now, not the family’s.
Silas has a dry, pitch-black sense of humor that shows up when you least expect it. He can kill a man, clean a scene, and make a deadpan joke about it before the bleach dries. He’s not cruel. He’s just past pretending that this life makes sense. He isn’t flashy, he’s final. He cleans up mistakes, relocates enemies, and keeps his mouth shut. But he’s starting to wonder if maybe he is the next mess to be cleaned.
Background:
Silas was born in Echo Harbor, a crumbling dockside neighborhood full of rust and grudges. His father was a longshoreman who lost half a hand in an accident no one was compensated for. His mother cleaned hotel rooms and never once smiled in a photograph. He had a brother once, Francesco. A year older. Francesco talked loud, ran fast, and died young. Shot in the back during a liquor store robbery he didn’t even start. Silas found him still warm.
At seventeen, he enlisted. Infantry. Afghanistan. He won medals, saw things he never talks about, and came back with a head full of ghosts. No family. No prospects. Just skills no one wanted to acknowledge. When he came home, Luca found him. Not by accident. They’d grown up a few blocks apart, barely crossed paths but Luca remembered him. Saw what the war had made of him. Offered him a new war to fight. Silas said yes.
Raised in silence, Silas was always the quiet kid with blood on his hands before he was old enough to shave. He came into the family through violence and proved himself indispensable. He doesn’t want power, just control. Over his actions, his past, his debt. Silas saw the worst parts of Luca and learned how to make people disappear. But now, he sees the family rotting from the inside. He doesn’t know if he wants to fix it or vanish before it crumbles.
Relationships: Closest to Luca, the only man he respects. Keeps Levi and Mari at a suspicious distance. Shadows Naira, waiting to see what she does next. Keeps tabs on Dominic, aware of the heat building.
Mannerisms: Sleeps with the TV on to avoid silence; collects pocket knives like trophies.

Luca
The Recruiter - Luca De Angelis
Face claim: casey deidrick
Age: 35
Role: Former enforcer, quietly planning retirement
Personality Traits: Cold, strategic, calculating, weary of his own legacy yet enjoys the power, stoic, introspective, warm underneath, funny, bigger picture sort of guy.
Bio: Measured. Watchful. Razor-sharp but deeply, dangerously tired. Luca isn’t sentimental, but he feels more than he lets on. There’s an ache in him that never fully went away—something he buried with the people he couldn’t save.
He rarely speaks first, but when he does, people listen. He’s the kind of man who finishes a sentence with a glance. The kind who could kill you kindly. A cold hand and colder stare. Luca helped build the Callaro empire brick by bloody brick. Now he wants out but the family never lets people go that easily. The Boss still trusts him, which is dangerous.
Background:
Luca grew up in Ridgefield Flats, a neighborhood known for its rusted fences, unpaid bills, and kids who never made it past 25. His mother worked the night shift at a textile plant, and his father, when he was around, was the kind of man who taught lessons with his fists. Luca learned young that silence was safer than protest, that bruises faded faster than trust.
By sixteen, he’d already done time for someone else’s mistake. By eighteen, he was running his own crew, small-time but efficient—robberies, intimidation, the occasional job that left someone missing. What made him different wasn’t his brutality, but his discipline. Luca never raised his voice. Never bragged. Just made problems disappear.
He was scouted by Alessandro Callaro after a particularly clean warehouse job. The old man saw something useful in him, someone who could walk into a fire, keep his eyes open, and walk out untouched. Luca never looked back. Luca’s been the family’s silent blade for years. He came from nothing, carved out his place with strategy and blood. For a while, he and Céline were the ones who kept things from falling apart, until the weight got too heavy. He trained Naira, trusted Silas, and buried too many bodies to count. But something broke in him when he realized loyalty meant sacrifice without thanks. He’s planning an exit. Quiet. Permanent.
Relationships: Former partner to Naira, still watches her rise with interest. Trusts Silas like a brother. Keeps old debts with Céline and maybe secrets, too. Has a wary professional respect for Dominic.
Mannerisms: Stares at people a beat too long, like he’s memorizing them; Speaks slowly, measuring every word.

Dominic
The Ace - Dominic Vasquez
Face claim: Damiano David
Age: 32
Role: Strategic Enforcer & The Family’s Wildcard
Personality Traits: Ambitious, seductive, hot-tempered, sharp, clever, opportunistic, impatient and quick to anger, idealistic streak for honor and justice.
Bio: Clever. Impatient. Magnetic when he wants to be. Dominic is the rare enforcer who listens more than he speaks, but when he does speak, people remember. There’s heat under the surface, sometimes charm, sometimes rage but he rarely lets it show unless it serves a purpose. He believes in the organisation, but more than that, he believes in earning your place. He resents legacy. Resents people like Nico, who were born into a seat he had to bleed for. And yet… he likes some of them. Too much, maybe.
Dominic is the Callaro family’s go-to man for high-stakes operations that require brains and brawn. A tactical thinker with a volatile temper, he thrives in the chaos of power plays and is fiercely loyal, though his loyalty comes with strings attached. Dominic’s charm and street smarts have helped him climb the ranks quickly, but his ambition makes him dangerous. He’s always looking for the angle that puts him a step ahead, even if it means stepping on family toes.
Background:
Dominic was born in Santa Ana, the second son of a man who disappeared before he was old enough to speak, and a mother who never let that absence define them. She raised two boys with iron in her spine and prayer beads in her hand. His older brother, Mateo, was her golden one: clean, devout, university-bound. Dominic? Dominic was the bruised knuckle. The fight she couldn’t scrub clean.
When Mateo was killed, wrong time, wrong corner, wrong city, Dominic never forgave the world for letting it happen. He dropped out of school, joined a local crew, and turned the hollow in his chest into strategy. He learned how to move quietly, how to calculate risk, how to hurt the right people at the right time. He got smarter. Harder. More dangerous.
He was recruited by Luca, not with a promise, but with a choice. “You want revenge, or you want purpose?” Luca asked. Dominic took both.
Dominic came into the family late, but made waves fast. His temper has always been a problem but so has his ambition. He rose quickly by being the one who could handle high-pressure ops. But he wants more. He thinks ahead but he’s not as careful as he thinks.
Relationships: Respects Luca, wants to be the next version of him. Keeps a safe distance from Silas, out of survival instinct. Knows Jaylen’s more dangerous than he appears.
Mannerisms: Runs his hands through his hair when angry; taps the table with his middle finger when bored; Has an old coin he flips when making tough calls.

J
The Shadow - Jaylen “J” Vega
Face claim: emilio sakraya
Age: 29
Role: Driver and courier
Personality Traits: Quiet, loyal, hyper-aware, possibly deceptive, kind, holds grudges in silence, jealous type, softer than he looks.
Bio: Always watching, never saying much. Jaylen’s the guy who’s always around but never noticed. That’s why he’s the perfect courier. Jaylen is calm, quiet, and always watching. People talk more when they think he isn’t listening. He has a dry wit, the kind that only comes out when he’s comfortable. He doesn’t lie as much as he omits. He’s observant, calculated, but his choices are starting to tilt emotional. He says he doesn’t get attached. But he always returns to the same bar. Always drives Mari home safe. Always keeps one cassette in the tape deck.
Background:
Jaylen grew up in a South Florida foster system, bounced between group homes and temporary families until he learned to rely on speed and silence to survive. A stint in juvie at seventeen put him on a watchlist.
Jaylen started as a driver, a quiet, capable wheelman who didn’t ask questions and never lost a package. He proved trustworthy. Monique (now gone) gave him jobs. Luca vouched for him. And little by little, people let their guard down. Jaylen wasn’t just “the driver” anymore. He was family-adjacent. He shared drinks with Nico, played cards with Levi, helped Céline move house. He started patching city names on his courier jacket—places he’d been with them.
Jaylen came out of nowhere and stayed. He’s the guy who shows up when something needs to get moved, fast and quietly. No one really knows where he came from, which makes him perfect… and unsettling. He’s not who he claims. And he’s watching everything.
Relationships: Keeps close to Mari. Tension with Rafael, who caught him lying once. Celine trusts him. Older brother energy with Luca.
Mannerisms: Shrugs as a default response; A large collection of cassettes in his car; Collects patches from every city he’s delivered something illegal in.

Rafael
The Quartermaster - Rafael Moretti
Face claim: aaron pierre
Age: 37
Role: Logistics and Arms supplier
Personality Traits: Pragmatic, grounded, quietly resentful, clever, practical, paranoid making him overly cautious, tries to learn how to live more freely but it never sticks.
Bio: Rafael runs the weapons, the gear, and the gadgets. His studio fronts as a custom car shop and underground tech haven. A loyalist in theory, but more of a pragmatist. He doesn’t like being lied to and lately, he feels surrounded by lies. Pragmatic. Grounded. Wary. Rafael doesn’t make loud entrances or big speeches. He’s the kind of man who leaves a room with more than he came in with information, leverage, blueprints. He’s not a people person, but he’s not cold. There’s warmth there, under the engine grease and quiet suspicion, just rarely on display.
Rafael’s garage is the place where the family’s toys are born: guns hidden in dashboards, tracking systems embedded in cufflinks, cars fitted for heists or getaways or ambushes. It’s half-shop, half-sanctuary.
He doesn’t run with the soldiers, but he arms them. Doesn’t make the calls, but he hears all of them. And that puts him in a position no one quite knows how to handle: quiet, peripheral, and always watching. His loyalty is to structure, systems, tools, predictability. People? That’s murkier.
Background:
Rafael was born in Milan but raised in Newark, New Jersey, the son of a mechanic father and a seamstress mother who both worked too hard and aged too fast. His father taught him engines and the value of precision. His mother taught him silence, how to listen for things people didn’t say. He was the middle child of five, but the only one who kept his nose clean long enough to survive. One brother died in a carjacking gone wrong. One is in prison. His sisters, one estranged and the other in hiding, are ghosts he occasionally hears about through whispers.
He was clever, mechanically gifted, good with his hands. Got a scholarship to a tech school but dropped out after one semester. Said the system wasn’t built for people like him. Said he could make more money customizing engines for street racers. Said a lot of things no one challenged, because he said them with such certainty.
And just like his father who an old-school arms runner, he inherited the shop, the clients, and the paranoia. He keeps the Callaro machine moving with quiet efficiency. Every car in his garage is named, every deal recorded in code. He trusts gear more than people.
Relationships: Trusted by Céline. Watches Jaylen too closely to be casual. Has a long history with Luca, though they rarely speak now.
Mannerisms: Grits his teeth when frustrated; Double-checks everything doors, locks, gear, people; Talks to himself under his breath while working; Has named all the cars in his garage like people.

Delia
The Heiress - Delia Martinez
Face claim: Camila Morrone
Age: 25
Role: The Heiress
Personality Traits:
Magnetic, intuitive, playful, emotionally restless, subtly manipulative when cornered, self-sabotaging, headstrong, a romantic at heart but cynical beneath, prideful, hates being controlled but craves validation, reckless in love, clever enough to twist a conversation but too impulsive to see the consequences.
Bio:
Delia Martinez always knew how to light up a room but she also knew how to set it on fire and walk away. People called her sweet, but those closest knew better: Delia could charm you, disarm you, and leave you wondering what hit you. There was steel behind the softness, and a temper beneath the smile. She’d been caged too long by her family’s name, and sometimes the only way she felt free was to burn bridges just to watch them fall.
Her affair with Nico Callaro wasn’t just rebellion, it was strategy, passion, and self-destruction wrapped up in one bad decision. Delia was drawn to danger like a moth to flame. She loved like she lived: fast, hungry, and without looking back. The overdose that ended her story wasn’t just bad luck. It was the consequence of years of chasing a freedom she didn’t know how to handle once she tasted it.
Background:
Daughter of Emilio Martinez, who ruled the family like a CEO and a god rolled into one. But Delia hated being a pawn. She learned how to play people early, how to make the right man feel important, how to flatter her father just enough to earn a sliver of freedom. She wasn’t above using affection as currency. She wasn’t above lying to get what she wanted. And when she felt cornered, she could be cutting, cruel even, lashing out before someone else could hurt her first.
On paper, Delia was the perfect daughter. In practice, she was a storm in silk gloves. She loved art, music, and the city’s darker corners. She made a game of slipping past the guards, of finding the places where no one cared who she was. That’s where she met Nico and fell into a spiral that even she couldn’t charm her way out of.
Relationships:

Mannerisms:
Carried a tiny notebook where she jotted down overheard lines, dreams, sketches; Wore a silver locket, inside, a faded photo of her mother as a girl; Loved to sing when she thought no one was listening.

Alessandro
The Don – Alessandro Callaro
Face Claim: Bobby Cannavale
Age: 62
Role: The reigning boss of the Callaro family
Status: Semi-retired, quietly grooming a successor
Bio: Alessandro Callaro is the old-world architect of the family’s power. Elegant, composed, and terrifying when he speaks softly, he rose through blood and fire to secure the Callaros’ empire. But illness (or paranoia) has started to weaken his grip. He’s begun delegating more to Nico but not without second-guessing every move his son makes. Alessandro believes in control above all else, and Nico’s chaos worries him deeply. He keeps his cards close, especially regarding who he truly wants to succeed him.
Mannerism; Never raises his voice, people just lean in to hear him; Keeps a meticulous garden. No one is allowed to touch it.
Relationships: Father to Nico (strained). On and off with Céline (always keeps her close as a friend. Deeply distrusts Levi.
Armando
The Rival – Armando Martinez
Face Claim: Joaquim de Almeida
Age: 60
Role: Boss of the Martinez cartel (Callaros’ uneasy allies)
Bio:
Armando Martinez built his cartel on ruthless precision and family loyalty. Unlike Alessandro, he believes in fire over finesse.
