Everyone did such a great job in the Hot Mess Princess contest! Judges have HEAVILY COMPLAINED during these last 2 contests because it's so hard to choose winners.

I've received multiple inquiries in my inbox.
Q. Is story writing a requirement for the contest/judging or just an option?
A. It is absolutely NOT a part of the judging. The only words required in the contest are listed in the rules - the name of the item. Anything beyond that is ignored.
Your captions are interesting. If you enjoy writing them, by all means, continue to do so. Those who don't enjoy story writing, there's no need to feel pressured to create a caption. The only time judges will consider captions is when the contest requires them.
