Back with an idea, that has been brewing for a while now. I'm considering doing a contest with bubble universe, where you all have the same starting premise and then you can choose your genre out of two or three (horror, thriller/mystery, romance, character-driven drama). Limited amount of characters to work with, five rounds and a collaborative ending to the story (aka, we can work on the direction). I'd ask EA for longer rounds, of course.

Yay! I'll find time; I'm looking forward to picking up Anita from the asylum - literally, haha!

So far, I doubt I will have a chance to host soon, but I will be happy to do something else in a few months for sure)

Are your hosting plans progressing, Mira?

I got the writing itch a month back but then fell head first into another obsession, but coming out of that the itch is slowly coming back. I read skimmed through the first season of Vertatis but I'm not sure I understand the lore and happenings enough, but intrigued and am possibly a maybe? If that is even a possibility and if hosting is still in the plans.

either way, checking the summer writing plans here, cus sitting under a parasol sipping ice tea or wine writing some silly writings in the coming months sound kinda awesome (though I know that idyll would possibly make up for max 1% of actual writing time, but aye we love the dream of fiction don't we)

Well good point with summer and all! I had a day to think so I am pivoting since I think it’ll be easier for everyone. Sooo I’ll post casting for another thing in a day or so to see where we are at and do contest pretty straight after. The contest will follow a “plot” loosely but I’ll just follow whatever you guys feel like doing to make the story into your own because that feels more important.


Set in 1970s during the peak of summer. You are the up and coming future for the mobster family, some still finding a name and space for themselves within the organization. We start our story within the Callaro family during the month of June in LA.

I just think it’s more realistic during summer when everyone wants to be outside and makes plans last minute (for me as well as a host) to have something more fluent and simpler to follow and write whatever.

Will probably post the casting or tomorrow! Contestant will follow right after or a day after just in case I need to adjust anything after casting

I blinked and missed a ton!

I was looking forward to figuring out how to take Nita out of the asylum, but this sounds like fun, too! Which reminds me, I should really, REALLY get those 1970s outfits going.
